End of Semester at LAST!

  • Mood: Relief
  • Listening to: Fireworks at the showgrounds.
  • Reading: Challenged By Church History.
  • Playing: Spooky and Pixie. They're scared of fireworks.
  • Eating: Soup with bread and marge.
  • Drinking: Coke Zero as per usual.
What a relief to have finally finished cert 4 painting. Handed it in last Friday, gave presentation talk, forked over my visual diary, demanded to know RIGHT NOW (!) if I passed?

I have!

Now I only have to do one term of Textiles and Copy Right (a theory subject) and I will have completed the entire requirements for Certificate 4 in Visual Art.

Next Semester I start Diploma at last. Painting will be my first subject. Next year I will take on all Diploma subjects.

I have to slow down a bit though as it is quite a workload and my brain cells don't function as well as they used to, nor is my energy 'up there' any more. But I will plod on and do the best I can!

I hope all my friends are doing okay. I'm struggling, but that is better than giving in. Big hugs to all who need them.

As you Americans start enjoying warmer weather, we Aussies are rugging up for our winter. Brrr...

My lizards are hibernating and finally my snake is beginning to get sleepy too. I love them very much and it is still difficult to get used to them not eating. I always think they are going to starve and die! But my logic kicks in and assures me it is normal and natural for them to just sleep and not eat.
